Overview
We're working with one of our biggest consultancy clients on roles in the North West, looking for Cost Managers in Manchester.
Projects include carbon capture, energy storage, SMRs, nuclear new build, and transmission & distribution.
They’re also open to candidates from infrastructure, power, energy, or civils background.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver initial appraisals and feasibility reports.
- Draft and prepare contract documents.
- Manage client relationships and present project schemes effectively.
- Oversee project programming and address any issues affecting service delivery.
- Delivering precise monitoring, forecasting, and reporting of project costs to ensure completion within budget.
- Role Requirements
- Have already obtained or working towards chartership (RICS, APM, CIOB, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and positive approach
- NEC Experience is preferred but not necessary
