Conrad Consulting is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our client in Central London. Our Client is an independent niche practice providing a comprehensive property consultancy service.

Projects: Commercial, Residential, Education.

Company Headcount: 5 - 20

Role of the Senior Building Surveyor: Our client is seeking a Building Surveyor, at the Senior Surveyor level, to work in their Building Consultancy team based in their London office. The successful candidate will be working across a range of schemes including commercial, residential, educational and ecclesiastical, with a mixture of both professional services and project-based works. A broad range of experience is essential, including dilapidations, party wall and neighbourly matters, building surveys, schedules of condition and planned maintenance programmes together with contract administration and project management. We envisage the successful candidate will operate as a key member of the team from day one with an opportunity to progress within the Building Consultancy team. An entrepreneurial spirit and commercial mindset are essential to maximise the potential of this role. There is scope to generate a significant amount of new work from within the business (specifically our growing Asset and Property Management teams); the successful candidate would be expected to drive this forward and convert this potential.

Requirements of the Senior Building Surveyor:

  • MRICS essential.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years post qualified Building Surveying experience.
  • Broad range of experience, both commercial and residential.
  • Project based experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Full and clean UK driving license.
  • Able to generate new work from within the business and externally.
