Overview
In this senior leadership role, you will steer complex structural engineering projects from inception to completion, applying high-level technical and commercial judgment. You will lead a Structures team, maintain key client relationships, and contribute to business growth and standards. Expect a varied portfolio across new-builds, refurbishment, investigations and remediation, including forensic aspects. Your role shapes project outcomes and the direction of the structural engineering team in a London office.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex structural projects from instruction to delivery
- Perform structural assessments, surveys and defect investigations
- Develop practical remediation solutions for issues like fire, floods, subsidence and damage
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and graduates
- Foster client relationships and coordinate with consultants and contractors
- Support business development and client growth
- Represent the firm at events and deliver CPD presentations
- Contribute to technical standards and best practices
Key requirements
- Chartered MIStructE or MICE
