This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit consultancy where you'll enjoy genuine variety in your workload, work closely with experienced Directors, and have the chance to develop your career within a supportive environment.
You'll be given responsibility from day one, working across a diverse range of commercial, residential, education and public sector projects throughout Yorkshire and the Humber.
Whether you're already chartered or working towards your APC, this business will provide the support and exposure needed to help you progress.
Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor Deliver a broad range of professional and project building surveying services.
Undertake condition surveys, building inspections and defect diagnosis.
Prepare specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
Administer contracts and oversee projects on site.
Carry out dilapidations, party wall matters and technical due diligence where required.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Work alongside colleagues across other disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
Requirements of the Building Surveyor Degree qualified in Building Surveying.
Experience working within a UK consultancy environment.
Working towards MRICS or already Chartered (preferred but not essential).
Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Full UK driving licence.
On offer for the Building Surveyor Salary up to 50,000 DOE.
