Conrad Consulting are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a well-established building services contractor delivering a range of commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector projects throughout the Central Belt. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a background in mechanical installation to take ownership of site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Supervisor:

  • Supervise mechanical installation teams on site.
  • Coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor progress against programme and project milestones.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
  • Liaise with project managers, clients, and other trades.
  • Manage site documentation, permits, and reporting requirements.
  • Identify and resolve site issues efficiently to maintain project delivery.

Requirements of the Mechanical Supervisor:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within the Building Services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework, plumbing, and mechanical installations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence.
