We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to take the lead on high-profile civil engineering and construction projects nationwide. As Project Manager, you will oversee every stage of the project lifecycle - from initial planning and mobilisation through to final handover - ensuring each project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and manage civil engineering and construction projects from concept to completion
- Coordinate with design teams, site managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Control project budgets, programmes, and resource allocation
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Produce detailed progress reports, risk assessments, and updates for senior management
- Identify and resolve site issues quickly and effectively
- Travel nationwide to oversee multiple live projects
- Build, mentor, and inspire site teams and junior staff
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes

Essential Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction
- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Sound knowledge of health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects and travel extensively across the UK
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
- Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Professional project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent (desirable)
