The successful Civils Operative will work alongside experienced site teams delivering high-quality infrastructure works from initial groundworks through to final completion.
This role is ideal for a motivated Civils Operative seeking long-term work on major housing developments with excellent career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Carry out drainage installation, kerbing, paving and ducting works.
Assist with roads, sewers and plot preparation.
Operate small plant where certified.
Follow drawings and instructions from Site Management.
Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
Maintain high standards of workmanship.
Support the wider civils team across multiple work areas.
Assist with concrete works, foundations and external works.
Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained correctly.
Promote excellent health and safety standards on site.
Requirements Previous experience as a Civils Operative within civil engineering or groundworks.
Experience on residential housing developments preferred.
CSCS Card essential.
CPCS or NPORS tickets advantageous.
Experience in drainage, roads and infrastructure works.
Good understanding of site health and safety.
Full UK Driving Licence desirable.
Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
