Our client is a highly regarded and growing engineering consultancy based in Wakefield, currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking practice that continues to expand its portfolio and reputation across the region.

In this role, you will take a leading position in the design and delivery of a wide range of infrastructure projects, including highways, drainage, external works and earthworks. You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, managing multiple schemes simultaneously while working closely with clients, stakeholders and internal teams to deliver high-quality, technically robust solutions.

There is a strong emphasis on leadership, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the ongoing development of the team.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience in civil engineering across a variety of sectors, with proven expertise in delivering highways and drainage schemes. You will be confident using MicroDrainage (or equivalent) and AutoCAD Civil 3D, particularly for ground modelling and earthworks, and will have the ability to manage projects through to successful completion.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential, along with a minimum qualification of a Level 4 BTEC HNC.
