A leading global consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to join its growing Defence team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of the UK's most significant and complex defence programmes, supporting major infrastructure and capital investment projects from early feasibility through to delivery.

You'll be joining a well-established team with a strong pipeline of secured work, providing estimating expertise across high-profile defence schemes while working alongside project management, cost management and programme controls professionals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Producing cost estimates and cost plans across all project stages
  • Developing estimating strategies and methodologies
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and project information
  • Preparing benchmark data and cost intelligence reports
  • Supporting business cases and investment decisions
  • Working closely with project teams and key stakeholders
  • Identifying cost risks and opportunities
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and best practice initiatives

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in an Estimating role within construction, infrastructure or defence
  • Strong cost planning and estimating experience
  • Excellent analytical and commercial skills
  • Experience working on complex projects and programmes
  • Proficient with estimating software and cost management tools
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Security clearance eligibility would be advantageous
