We’re working with an award-winning multidisciplinary building consultancy in Bristol that is looking to strengthen its team with the appointment of a Senior Building Surveyor. This is a great opportunity for an experienced surveyor who enjoys a varied workload and wants to take on greater responsibility across both professional and project work, while supporting the development of junior team members.

The practice has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality building surveying services across commercial, residential and public sector projects, with work including condition surveys, contract administration, dilapidations, party wall matters and wider consultancy services.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading building surveys, condition assessments and technical reporting
  • Delivering contract administration and project management duties
  • Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation
  • Advising on dilapidations, party wall matters and wider professional services
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted technical advisor
  • Supporting and mentoring APC-level surveyors within the team

Who we’re looking for:

  • MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor (or close to achieving chartership)
  • Solid experience across core building surveying disciplines
  • Confident managing projects and client relationships
  • Strong report writing and technical knowledge
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to mentor junior surveyors
