We’re looking for an experienced Principal Designer / CDM Consultant to join a well-established consultancy in Bristol. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in design management and CDM regulations, who enjoys leading projects and collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Principal Designer on a range of projects, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations
  • Provide clear health & safety advice to clients and project teams
  • Lead risk assessments and coordinate risk management across design teams
  • Review and sign off on design deliverables to ensure safety and compliance
  • Mentor and guide junior staff in CDM responsibilities
  • Liaise with contractors, clients, and designers to resolve complex design issues

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a consultancy environment
  • Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations
  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Salary & Benefits:
