An independent and growing construction consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Director - Project Management to join its Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager ready to take the next step into a leadership role, with a strong focus on developing client relationships, winning new work, and helping drive the continued growth of the business.
Working closely with the Directors, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the Bristol office while continuing to lead the successful delivery of projects across a range of sectors.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the delivery of construction projects from inception through to completion
- Developing and managing key client relationships
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Preparing fee proposals and supporting tender submissions
- Working with the Directors to grow the Bristol office and expand the client base
- Leading project teams and providing mentorship to junior Project Managers
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard
- Representing the business at networking events and industry functions
What we're looking for:
- Proven Project Management experience within a consultancy environment
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills
- Track record of winning work and generating repeat business
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities
- Chartered status (MAPM, MRICS or MCIOB) preferred
- Commercially minded with an entrepreneurial approach
- Ambitious and motivated to help grow a successful consultancy
