ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, CIVILS85k-90k plus benefits Permanent London Industrial Transport Energy Defence Civil 3DInfo Drainage Causeway Flow An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director to join the Civil Engineering team of a leading global consultancy.

This senior role offers the chance to take a key position in the delivery of major, multidisciplinary projects while helping shape the continued growth of the civil engineering capability.

The successful candidate will lead teams delivering complex civil engineering design across areas including drainage, utilities, highways, pavements, earthworks, access and construction logistics.

They will oversee the production, review and approval of technical deliverables, while ensuring projects are delivered to high technical standards, on programme and within budget.

The role will also involve providing technical leadership across the wider practice, developing engineering capability, supporting bids and proposals, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams both in the UK and internationally.

There will be significant scope to influence best practice, mentor engineers and contribute to the strategic development of the civil engineering team.

Candidates should be Chartered Civil Engineers with a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, together with substantial consultancy experience delivering complex civil engineering projects within a multidisciplinary environment.

Strong technical knowledge of relevant design standards and experience across drainage, utilities, earthworks and pavements is essential.

Proficiency in software such as Civil 3D, Causeway Flow or Info Drainage would be advantageous.

Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills are required, together with a proactive approach and the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Experience within the Energy or Defence sectors would be beneficial but is not essential.
