A hands on Senior Architect is needed to lead small to large scale residential projects and contribute across mixed use, educational and data centre work. This role covers RIBA Stages 1-6 and suits a technically confident designer who can produce planning submissions, working drawings and detailed technical packages using Revit and AutoCAD.
Senior Architect Responsibilities
- Lead projects across RIBA Stages 1-6, primarily for Residential schemes but also Mixed use, Education & Data-Centre commissions.
- Prepare planning applications and produce high quality working drawings and detailed technical packages.
- Project running: coordinate consultants, manage client communication and oversee tender and site stages.
- Ensure compliance with UK planning processes, Permitted Development Rights and Building Regulations.
- Collaborate and contribute to studio design development while working autonomously when required.
Required Experience
- ARB/RIBA Part III qualified Architect with minimum 8 years UK experience.
- Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills.
- Proven track record in Residential design with experience across small to large projects is essential.
- Experience within Mixed-use, Educational and Data Centre projects will also be desirable.
- Thorough knowledge of planning, Permitted Development Rights and Building Regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of client facing responsibilities and mentoring junior staff.
The successful Senior Architect will be afforded the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio with clear responsibility for design and technical delivery all whilst developing professionally within a collaborative studio environment. The role comes with a highly competitive salary up to £55,000 (dependent on experience) plus company benefits.
