Not only will the successful candidate be trusted to take the lead across a range of interesting design and technical projects, but you will also be expected to provide leadership and act as a mentor to more junior members of the team along the way. We are looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist who will enjoy investing in their colleagues and see this as a long-term appointment where they can heavily contribute to the future of the firm. Senior Architectural Technologist - The Role Leading the production of detailed technical drawings and specifications Involved across the full project lifecycle — from feasibility and design development through to technical delivery and construction support Preparing and coordinating planning and Building Regulations submissions Liaising directly with engineers, consultants and contractors on timelines and specifications Conducting site visits and surveys to inform project development Supporting project management — coordinating schedules, resources and junior staff Managing multiple projects simultaneously while keeping everything on track Ensuring full compliance with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards What You'll Need A degree in Architectural Technology or a relevant discipline Significant experience as an Architectural Technologist - ideally at Senior level Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Solid grasp of UK Building Regulations and current legislation Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills Confidence managing your own workload and mentoring junior colleagues Desirable MCIAT Chartered or working towards chartered status Revit proficiency A genuine interest and experience within commercial and industrial sectors What's On Offer Competitive salary, likely to be in the range of £40k-£45k plus annual bonus Company vehicle options Private healthcare Pension Structured career development and CPD support Holidays, bank holidays and Christmas shutdown Regular team socials Real involvement in varied, technically interesting commercial and industrial projects If you'd be happy working within a friendly, ambitious team who are truly going places, I'd love to hear from you.
