They are looking to add to their existing team with the hire of a Chartered Building Surveyor to their city centre Edinburgh office. They would be looking to progress the successful applicant to Senior within 12 months if certain targets are achieved. They have a real mix of projects working with high end developers, lenders and investors, public sector institutions and a selection of private local clients. Their main sectoral coverage would be Industrial, Commercial Property, Retail, and Local Authority work which would give you a huge variety in your workload.
Key Responsibilities of the Chartered Building Surveyor:
- Carry out building surveys, defect diagnosis, and condition reports
- Deliver project management and contract administration services
- Provide professional advice to clients on building-related matters
- Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation
