Senior Structural Engineer – Contract Southend-on-Sea £50.00-£55.00 per hour (outside IR35) Well established Essex based practice is urgently seeking a senior structural engineer on a contract basis. You will be able to work from home for 3 days a week, which is a huge bonus these days. They need an engineer who is confident and fully conversant in building structures. If you have knowledge of civils projects, this would be a bonus. Their workload relies heavily on repeat business and word of mouth, so you will be conscientious and focus on delivery of projects within budget and timescales. Whilst you will work as part of a team, candidates must be prepared to work autonomously and be confident to carry out projects without full time input from other design engineers. Excellent communication skills are vital, as dealing with emails and calls relating to the project will be part of your remit. You must be prepared to attend site visits as and when needed, providing problem solving input. The role sits within the building structures team of our successful client who offer multidiscipline engineering services.
