Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, they are seeking an experienced Structural Technician to join their Sheffield office and play a key role in the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with a strong background in structural detailing and design support who is looking to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team. The successful candidate will have a minimum 5 years' experience within a UK structural engineering environment and will be confident producing high-quality technical drawings and models across a variety of project types.
The role will involve the preparation and development of detailed structural drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD, supporting engineers throughout the design and delivery process. Candidates should be comfortable detailing a wide range of construction materials including steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry, while demonstrating a thorough understanding of current building regulations, British Standards and structural engineering standards.
Our client is looking for an individual with strong technical knowledge of construction methods, structural mechanics and industry best practice. The successful applicant will be able to interpret engineering designs accurately and translate them into clear, precise and coordinated technical documentation.
