Senior Structural Engineer
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £50K-£55K plus benefits

Our client is a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a network of national offices. Their Newcastle office has been particularly successful recently, with a number of project wins. As a result, they are looking to hire a senior structural engineer to help with project delivery.
Projects include: residential, retail, commercial, and many more.
About you:
- Degree in Structural Engineering
- Chartered or close to
- At least 5 years' experience within a UK consultancy
- Experience at senior engineer level where you have been the technical lead on projects
- Fully conversant with the use of Eurocodes and structural analysis design software
- Design experience in all traditional forms of building structures
The role includes:
- Analysis and design using Tekla
- Structural assessment and inspection of new and existing structures in all materials
- Oversee technical output ensuring work is of the highest standard
- Good communication skills are vital to produce technical reports including structural surveys
