This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data professional to work on major infrastructure, construction, and capital investment programmes, helping clients make informed decisions through high-quality data analysis, reporting, and visualisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming complex project data into meaningful insights, supporting project teams and senior stakeholders in driving performance, identifying trends, and improving project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of project and programme performance data across complex projects.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and management information to support project controls and decision-making.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for clients and project teams.
- Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance issues through detailed data analysis.
- Collaborate with project controls, planning, commercial, and risk teams to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.
- Support the development of reporting frameworks, data governance processes, and performance metrics.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and client leadership teams.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continued development of the data and analytics capability.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in data analysis, reporting, or project performance analytics.
- Strong experience analysing large and complex datasets within project, programme, or portfolio environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other reporting and visualisation tools.
- Experience developing executive-level dashboards and management reporting packs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Experience supporting major infrastructure, construction, engineering, or capital project environments would be advantageous.
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
