A thriving and well-established engineering consultancy based in Reading is seeking a talented Senior or Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join its growing infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced drainage professional who can confidently lead planning-stage drainage strategy projects, build strong client relationships, and mentor junior engineers within the team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering drainage strategies for a wide variety of development projects, working closely with clients from the early planning stages through to submission.
The Role- Prepare and lead planning-stage drainage strategy designs for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
- Attend client meetings, site visits and stakeholder consultations.
- Produce high-quality drainage strategies and supporting technical documentation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the planning process.
- Mentor, support and develop junior engineers within the team.
- Work collaboratively with other specialist teams across the business.
- Utilise Causeway Flow software for drainage design and analysis.
- Take ownership of projects and deliver work with minimal supervision.
