Conrad Consulting is delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading construction consultancy delivering major nuclear defence infrastructure programmes across the UK. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced commercial professional looking to play a key role in the successful delivery of nationally significant projects while helping to grow and develop a high-performing commercial team.

The Opportunity

  • You'll provide commercial leadership across complex infrastructure programmes, working closely with senior client stakeholders while overseeing the delivery of multiple project packages.
  • The position is based around Reading, with occasional travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

  • Leading commercial delivery across major infrastructure programmes
  • Providing strategic commercial advice to clients
  • Overseeing NEC contract administration and commercial governance
  • Leading procurement strategy and risk management
  • Managing project financial performance
  • Mentoring and developing commercial teams
  • Supporting business development and client relationship management

About You

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
  • Extensive experience delivering major infrastructure, defence, nuclear or complex engineering projects
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts or Alliance contracting
  • Proven leadership and client-facing experience
  • Chartered status (MRICS) preferred, although strong equivalent experience will also be considered
