Conrad Consulting is delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Associate Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading construction consultancy delivering major nuclear defence infrastructure programmes across the UK. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced commercial professional looking to play a key role in the successful delivery of nationally significant projects while helping to grow and develop a high-performing commercial team.
The Opportunity
- You'll provide commercial leadership across complex infrastructure programmes, working closely with senior client stakeholders while overseeing the delivery of multiple project packages.
- The position is based around Reading, with occasional travel to project sites as required.
Responsibilities
- Leading commercial delivery across major infrastructure programmes
- Providing strategic commercial advice to clients
- Overseeing NEC contract administration and commercial governance
- Leading procurement strategy and risk management
- Managing project financial performance
- Mentoring and developing commercial teams
- Supporting business development and client relationship management
About You
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
- Extensive experience delivering major infrastructure, defence, nuclear or complex engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts or Alliance contracting
- Proven leadership and client-facing experience
- Chartered status (MRICS) preferred, although strong equivalent experience will also be considered
