Conrad Consulting is proud to be partnering with a leading construction and property consultancy to recruit a Quantity Surveyor for a growing portfolio of high-profile nuclear defence projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established commercial team delivering nationally significant infrastructure schemes, offering long-term career development, exposure to complex projects, and the chance to work with some of the industry's leading professionals.
The Role
Working within a multidisciplinary project team, you'll provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and commercially. You'll be based around Reading, with occasional travel to project sites as required.
Responsibilities
- Cost planning and cost management
- Procurement support
- NEC contract administration
- Managing variations and change control
- Financial reporting and forecasting
- Supporting project delivery from inception through to final account
- Building strong relationships with clients and project teams
About You
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Experience within infrastructure, defence, utilities or major construction projects
- Working knowledge of NEC contracts (Alliance contracting experience also considered)
- Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required
