An established cost consultancy is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its Oxford office, supporting the delivery of a diverse pipeline of high-value projects across the retail, commercial, infrastructure, and residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of cost plans, tender documentation, and contract administration.
  • Manage project budgets, undertake cost control and forecasting activities.
  • Support contract negotiations and procurement processes with contractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare interim valuations, assess variations, and contribute to final accounts.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure commercial performance.
  • Monitor project risks and assist in value engineering exercises.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and contractual frameworks (JCT).
  • Support the mentoring of junior team members where appropriate.

What We’re Looking For:

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Around 3-5 years' post-graduate experience in cost consultancy or client-side environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial reporting.
  • Comfortable working across multiple sectors in both pre- and post-contract stages.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and cost management tools.
