Overview
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Structural Design Engineer in the Cambridge office, joining a talented, forward‑thinking team of structural engineering professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on a varied portfolio, including high‑end private residences, large mixed‑use developments, and projects across commercial, education, arts, healthcare, life sciences and industrial sectors.
- Support the team with design calculations, deliver complete design packages, attend design meetings, undertake site visits, and produce clear and concise reports.
- As experience grows, lead own projects and work towards CEng status through accredited IStructE and ICE training programmes with tailored mentoring.
Qualifications
- At least three years of professional experience.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of core structural materials, including concrete, steel, masonry and timber.
- Ability to produce clear design documentation and reports.
