An established, multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint a
Senior Building Surveyor to join its growing Leeds office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected team with a strong pipeline of work across the commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and public sectors.
You'll enjoy a varied role combining both professional services and project work, with the autonomy to manage your own clients while supporting the development of junior surveyors.
The role
- Delivering a broad range of Building Surveying services across multiple sectors
- Carrying out condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical due diligence
- Preparing schedules of dilapidations and handling landlord and tenant matters
- Managing refurbishment and fit-out projects from inception through to completion
- Producing specifications, tender documentation and contract administration
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting and mentoring graduate and assistant surveyors
- Working closely with senior colleagues to help develop existing client accounts
About you
- MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor
- Previous consultancy experience
- Strong technical knowledge across both professional and project work
- Confident dealing directly with clients and managing your own workload
- Experience administering JCT contracts
- Keen to mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment
