Conrad Consulting is pleased to be partnering with a growing and highly regarded building consultancy in Hertfordshire to recruit a Senior Building Surveyor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit team delivering a wide range of project-led building surveying services for public sector clients across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, North London and Essex. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of refurbishment, maintenance and capital works projects across a diverse property portfolio including education, healthcare, civic and community buildings. The role offers a strong project focus, making it ideal for a surveyor who enjoys seeing schemes through from initial design and specification through to completion on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a range of public sector construction and refurbishment projects.
- Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
- Undertaking contract administration duties and overseeing project delivery.
- Conducting condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical reporting.
- Providing professional building surveying advice to a varied client base.
- Supporting junior surveyors and contributing to team development.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
- MRICS qualified or working towards chartership.
- Proven experience delivering building surveying projects.
