Project Architect required to join a progressive Architectural practice in central Cheshire, near Wilmslow. This is one of the best vacancies in the North-West currently. Our client is growing their studio and taking on more work across the Residential and Commercial sectors, necessitating additional support within their Architectural design team. They are currently home to around 10 members of staff and plan to increase that number significantly based on current projections for the coming year.
Traditionally, their portfolio encompasses a mixture of Residential and Commercial schemes, ranging from bespoke luxury townhouses to hotels or medium/high-rise student accommodation buildings. They have some excellent new projects recently commissioned to the studio, and their experienced team is in need of 1 or 2 additional hires to meet the demand. Their Architects run projects autonomously, and this new hire will be expected to do the same. Support can and will always be available from senior colleagues, but a degree of independence and self-motivation is key.
What are we looking for?
- A motivated and experienced Architect, preferably with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
- An ambitious individual who sees themselves as a Senior/Associate Architect in the making.
- A good all-rounder, capable of undertaking high-quality design tasks and confident in attending site meetings and liaising directly with clients.
- A Residential/Commercial specialist with a proven portfolio of housing, hotel, and student schemes.
- An individual who can adapt to different software programmes, with REVIT and AutoCAD preferred.
