Conrad Consulting is pleased to be working with an established and highly regarded multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit a Senior Building Surveyor for their growing West Sussex office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to join a forward‑thinking practice delivering a wide-ranging, project‑biased workload, primarily for public sector clients.
The Role
- Take a key role in the delivery of building surveying and project-led instructions, including:
- Contract Administration on projects of varying scale and value
- Full Project Management duties from inception through to completion
- Writing and reviewing technical reports
- Preparing specifications and schedules of work
- Reviewing, preparing and submitting planning applications
- Client liaison and professional advice throughout all stages of projects
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate
About You
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- MRICS status (or actively working towards chartership)
- Strong experience across project-focused building surveying services
- Previous exposure to public sector projects (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, client-focused approach
