Operating mainly across the South East of England, this expanding firm of consulting engineers has an impressive portfolio of projects for which they provide a personal and professional service. Their Directors are involved in each project and you will benefit from their knowledge and experience.
Schemes are worked on from concept to completion/handover for homeowners, developers, main contractors and Local Authorities. They are seeking a senior structural engineer for their building structures team in Maidstone.
The successful candidate will have a history of working on a range of schemes with a focus on providing sympathetic, economical and practical engineering solutions. You will work directly with architects, developers, design and build contractors as well as individual clients. Your project history should include small scale residential, industrial, commercial, new build and refurbishment.
A degree in civil or structural engineering and at least 5 years' UK design experience is vital. Knowledge of the latest 3D engineering software is required along with a fully collaborative approach with the wider team. As you will be sharing information to improve efficiency and maintenance strategies, you will have excellent communication skills. The ability to mentor and assist junior engineers will be required.
