Junior Architectural Technician

A small, well-established Architecture & Design studio is looking to secure a Junior Architectural Technician to join their close-knit team based close to Rayleigh in Essex.

For the past 20 years this successful company have managed to deliver on a consistent workflow of design projects within the Residential, Commercial, Hospitality & Mixed-Use sectors. They are now well-placed to add a talented, up-and-coming Junior Architectural Technician to their team.

This company are offering the opportunity to become a vitally important part of their operations and gain exposure to all stages of the design process, enabling the incoming Architectural Technician to truly develop within the industry.

Junior Architectural Technician Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience working within UK architectural industry – Min 1 year
• Confident preparing drawings for residential, commercial & mixed-use works
• Ability to assist on preparation of planning packs/applications as well as Design & Access Statements
• Up to date with current Building Regulations and codes of practice
• Fully proficient in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of SketchUp & Photoshop is desirable

The successful Junior Architectural Technician can expect to receive a highly competitive salary, likely to be in the region of 30- 34k (dependent on experience).
