A well established architectural practice in Melton Mowbray is looking for a talented Architectural Technologist or Architect to join their growing team. Known for delivering high quality, detail driven projects across the retail, fit out and refurbishment sectors, the studio works with major brands and national clients to transform existing spaces into efficient, contemporary environments.

If you have experience in retail fit out or refurbishment or you are eager to step into a sector where no two projects are the same this role will suit you perfectly.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for running projects from early technical stages through to completion, coordinating with clients, contractors and consultants to deliver efficient, buildable solutions. The work is varied, fast moving and hands on, with a strong emphasis on technical accuracy, problem solving and clear communication.
You’ll be joining a friendly, collaborative team that values initiative, reliability and a practical approach to design. With the practice continuing to grow, there’s plenty of scope to develop your role and take on more responsibility over time.
What You’ll Bring- Experience working as a project running Architectural Technologist or Architect
- Ideally, retail fit out or refurbishment experience
- Strong technical knowledge and confidence delivering projects at pace
- Proficiency in Revit (highly desirable)
- Ability to coordinate with contractors and manage multiple live projects
- A practical, solutions focused mindset
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
- Work on fast paced, varied retail and refurbishment projects
- Hybrid working typically 2 days per week in the office
- Supportive, down to earth team with a strong technical focus
