Our client provides expert multidiscipline consulting services for a broad spectrum of sectors, including large infrastructure schemes globally.
They are currently seeking a highway engineer to join their busy London team. You will have a degree in civil engineering, with at least 3 years' UK experience within a highway engineering role, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent analytical and judgement capabilities.
As the role is within a collaborative environment, you will work effectively either independently or within a team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Concept layout and preliminary design of highways and local roads
- Preparation of construction plans and design of roadway networks
- Carrying out construction specification reviews and estimating of costs and quantities
Proficient in relevant software is vital, and knowledge of other software such as AutoCAD and Civils 3D would be an advantage.
