Conrad Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a leading international construction consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major programme of Data Centre Infrastructure and Enabling Works in Helsinki, Finland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing commercial team delivering large-scale, technically complex projects for one of the world's fastest-growing sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of critical infrastructure works from pre-contract through to final account.
The Role
- Managing all commercial aspects of data centre infrastructure and enabling works packages.
- Administering contracts, valuations, variations, and change management.
- Preparing cost plans, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Managing procurement and tendering activities.
- Assessing subcontractor accounts and negotiating final accounts.
- Identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Supporting the delivery of projects on time and within budget.
About You
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure, civil engineering, industrial, or data centre projects.
- Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract and commercial management practices.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English. Additional European languages would be advantageous but are not essential.
