Health & Safety Manager Salary: Competitive + Package We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join an established construction and infrastructure business. The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to health and safety, working closely with operational teams to maintain high standards across projects and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures. The Role You will provide professional H&S advice across the business, supporting project teams, site management and senior leadership to ensure a strong and positive safety culture. Key Responsibilities Provide competent health and safety advice across construction and infrastructure projects. Undertake regular site inspections, audits and compliance checks. Develop, review and implement health and safety policies and procedures. Support project teams with risk assessments and method statements. Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Monitor compliance with CDM Regulations and relevant legislation. Support the development and implementation of RAMS. Provide guidance and support to site management teams. Deliver toolbox talks, training and health and safety briefings. Monitor H&S performance and produce regular reports for senior management. Assist with external audits and client requirements. Promote a positive safety culture across the organisation. Ensure appropriate records and documentation are maintained. Work closely with operational teams to identify areas for improvement. Requirements Previous experience working within a Health & Safety role within construction, civils or infrastructure. NEBOSH qualification essential. Relevant professional membership such as IOSH desirable. Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation and CDM Regulations. Experience working on live construction sites. Strong communication and influencing skills. Ability to work with site teams, project managers and senior management. Full UK driving licence.
