Conrad Consulting is working with a successful property and building consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join their West Sussex team. This is a strongly project-focused Building Surveying position, ideal for a Chartered Surveyor who enjoys taking projects from inception through to completion and wants to work across a varied portfolio of commercial property. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, including: Project management of refurbishment and alteration schemes Contract administration Preparation of specifications and tender documentation Procurement and tender analysis Project monitoring and site inspections Defect diagnosis and technical advice Planned maintenance and major repair projects Schedules of condition and technical due diligence Preparation of reports and client advice Managing contractors and project teams Developing and maintaining client relationships The role offers considerable client exposure, with the successful candidate taking responsibility for delivering projects to programme, budget and the required quality standards. The ideal candidate MRICS qualified Building Surveyor Strong project-based Building Surveying experience Consultancy background Experience delivering refurbishment, alteration or maintenance projects Good knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration Strong technical and specification-writing skills Confident dealing with clients, contractors and professional teams Commercially aware and able to manage multiple projects This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Building Surveyor looking for a project-led role with a strong pipeline of work and genuine long-term progression
