An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator / Digital Delivery Coordinator to join an award-winning Architectural Practice in Leeds (LS20) with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex projects across the UK. This newly created position has been established to support the continued investment in digital delivery and BIM excellence across the business. Initially combining project delivery with practice-wide BIM coordination, the successful candidate will have a genuine opportunity to progress into a dedicated BIM Manager position as the digital team continues to evolve.
Working alongside Architects, Architectural Technologists and senior leadership, you will play a key role in driving BIM standards, information management and digital innovation across a diverse portfolio of projects.
The Role
This is a varied position combining technical project delivery with strategic BIM coordination across the practice. Working on projects across sectors including Education, Industrial, Logistics & Distribution, Commercial, Sport & Leisure, Manufacturing, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Justice, you will help ensure projects are delivered efficiently using robust BIM processes and high-quality coordinated information.
Key Responsibilities
- Support BIM coordination across multiple live projects.
- Assist with BIM delivery in accordance with ISO 19650 standards.
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates and workflows.
- Create and manage Revit families, templates and digital content.
- Audit Revit models and ensure compliance with BIM standards.
- Provide day-to-day Revit and BIM support across project teams.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary information using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM Collaborate Pro.
- Undertake clash detection using Navisworks and model validation using Solibri.
- Manage COBie information and digital project data.
- Support the production of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Deliver coordinated technical drawing packages through RIBA Stages 3-5.
- Attend client, consultant and contractor meetings.
- Mentor colleagues and promote BIM best practice throughout the practice.
- Support the ongoing development of the company's digital strategy.
Applicants should ideally possess
- Around 5-10 years' experience within an Architectural Practice.
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- Advanced Revit skills.
- Excellent understanding of BIM processes and ISO 19650.
- Experience developing Revit families, templates and digital resources.
- Experience working within Common Data Environments.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM Collaborate Pro, Navisworks and Solibri.
- Strong technical understanding of UK construction methods and detailing.
- Experience delivering projects through RIBA Stages 3-5.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to support and mentor colleagues whilst driving continuous improvement.
Experience of Dynamo, OpenBIM workflows and BIM implementation would be advantageous but is not essential.
