Graduate Architectural Technologist required to join a friendly and growing SME architectural practice based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Specialising in the residential sector, our clients portfolio ranges from large-scale developments for leading PLC house builders to bespoke, high-end one-off homes. With a reputation for delivering high-quality, design-led, and technically robust projects a Graduate Architectural Technologist is sought to join their collaborative team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career Architectural Technologist looking to begin their career in a supportive and professional environment. You will gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of residential projects, working closely with senior technologists and architects.
- Supporting the design and technical delivery of residential projects from concept through to completion.
- Producing accurate technical drawings and models using Revit (training and development provided if required).
- Assisting with planning and building regulation submissions.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities.
- Supporting the project team with day-to-day technical tasks in line with project deadlines.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual who is eager to learn and develop their technical expertise.
- Essential skills and attributes:
- Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
- Proficiency in CAD software; experience in Revit is highly desirable, or willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong technical understanding and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Desirable:
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the residential sector.
- Previous placement or work experience in a UK practice.
