Graduate Architectural Technologist required to join a friendly and growing SME architectural practice based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Specialising in the residential sector, our clients portfolio ranges from large-scale developments for leading PLC house builders to bespoke, high-end one-off homes. With a reputation for delivering high-quality, design-led, and technically robust projects a Graduate Architectural Technologist is sought to join their collaborative team.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career Architectural Technologist looking to begin their career in a supportive and professional environment. You will gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of residential projects, working closely with senior technologists and architects.

  • Supporting the design and technical delivery of residential projects from concept through to completion.
  • Producing accurate technical drawings and models using Revit (training and development provided if required).
  • Assisting with planning and building regulation submissions.
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities.
  • Supporting the project team with day-to-day technical tasks in line with project deadlines.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual who is eager to learn and develop their technical expertise.

  • Essential skills and attributes:
  • Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in CAD software; experience in Revit is highly desirable, or willingness to learn is essential.
  • Strong technical understanding and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Desirable:
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the residential sector.
  • Previous placement or work experience in a UK practice.
