Finance Controller Salary: Competitive + Package An established construction and infrastructure business is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Controller to support the continued growth and development of the organisation. This is a key position within the business, providing financial control, reporting and commercial support across the company. The Role You will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting and controls, ensuring accurate financial information is produced and supporting senior management with key commercial and financial decisions. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day financial control across the business. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Monitor budgets, forecasts and cash flow. Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes. Review financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to senior management. Monitor working capital, debtors and creditors. Support project and operational teams with financial information. Maintain strong financial controls and processes. Assist with annual budgets and forecasting. Liaise with external accountants, auditors and financial advisers where required. Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and relevant regulations. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting. Support senior management with financial planning and decision-making. Requirements Previous experience in a Finance Controller, Financial Accountant or similar role. Experience within construction, engineering or infrastructure would be advantageous. Strong understanding of management accounts, budgeting and forecasting. Excellent Excel and financial reporting skills. Strong attention to detail and analytical ability. Ability to work independently and communicate financial information clearly. Relevant accounting qualification or significant equivalent experience desirable.
