Our client is seeking an ambitious design engineer to join an expanding engineering team and contribute to projects across power, infrastructure, transport, energy and building sectors. The role is ideal for a graduate or early‑career engineer looking to develop technical expertise in a dynamic consultancy environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the production of engineering designs, calculations, technical drawings and project documentation.
- Assist senior engineers with the coordination and delivery of multidisciplinary schemes.
- Participate in BIM and digital engineering processes.
- Attend project meetings and support site inspections and surveys as required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and keen interest in consultancy work.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla or Civil 3D (additional training provided).
- Strong organisational skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Collaborative approach and motivation to continue learning and progress toward Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
- Previous placement or internship experience within an engineering consultancy is beneficial.
- Appreciation for current design standards, health and safety considerations and quality-led project delivery.
