Are you an Associate level Structural Engineer? Do you want to join a well-established friendly consultancy based in Derby?
Our client is expanding its building structures team and they are on the lookout for a talented and flexible Structural Engineer to help lead a growing section of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing structural calculations and producing structural reports
- Mentoring Graduate Engineers
- Managing several projects at one time, including commercial, industrial and residential
- Chartered MICE or MIStructE, or desire to achieve Chartered status
- Experienced with structural appraisal of both commercial structures and domestic housing stock
- Design skills in a wide range of materials which must include a good design knowledge of concrete, masonry, and steel
- Be highly motivated with excellent communication skills
- Have the ability to work under the minimum of supervision to tight deadlines
- Track record of problem solving and project management
