We have a fabulous opportunity for a structural engineer looking to join a small firm in Colchester. The benefits of joining a smaller firm are extensive; you will work closely with the Directors, who retain a hands-on approach, and you will be involved in all aspects of a project from beginning to end, gaining valuable experience along the way.

The team works on design in all traditional materials, including steelwork, RC, timber frame and masonry, and projects range from small to large scale private residential schemes. Their work is mainly private refurbishment and new build work in the Essex and London areas.

Our client is seeking a graduate structural engineer who has at least 2 years' UK experience with a relevant degree. You should be organised, ambitious and eager to succeed. Strong attention to detail is required, along with good communication skills. They use Tedds and Tekla, so working knowledge of this software is preferred. As this is a small firm, it is preferred that you are able to do your own CAD work.

On offer is support to gain Chartership, excellent package and hybrid working 1 or 2 days a week once you have completed your probation period. If you are interested in this role please send your CV to Graham Ventham at Conrad Consulting.
