Our client is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join their Colchester office, becoming part of a talented and forward-thinking team of structural engineering professionals. You will work across an exciting mix of new-build and refurbishment projects, from high-end private residences to large mixed-use developments, as well as schemes in the commercial, education, arts, healthcare, life sciences and industrial sectors. Every day will bring fresh challenges and the chance to contribute to meaningful, high-impact design.

To thrive in this role, you will bring at least three years of experience along with strong theoretical and practical knowledge across the core structural materials: concrete, steel, masonry and timber. You will support the team with design calculations, coordinate and help deliver complete design packages, attend design team meetings and undertake site visits, producing clear and concise reports as part of the process.

As you become established within the practice, you will have the opportunity to lead your own projects with continued guidance. You will also benefit from accredited IStructE and ICE training programmes, complete with tailored mentoring to support your journey towards CEng status. This role offers scope to grow your skills, accelerate your career and move into more senior responsibilities.
