Our client is looking to recruit an Environmental Consultant to join their growing environmental and sustainability team in Cambridge, supporting a range of major infrastructure and development projects across the UK.
The role will involve delivering material management and contaminated land projects, including the preparation of technical reports, waste assessments, permit applications and material management plans, alongside site investigations, contractor auditing and stakeholder liaison.
The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across a variety of sectors including transport, energy, water and development.
Applicants should hold a degree in an environmental, geological or engineering discipline and have consultancy or site-based experience within contaminated land, waste or material management. A strong understanding of relevant UK waste legislation and industry guidance is essential, along with good communication and organisational skills and a willingness to undertake site work across the UK.
