Quantity Surveyor We are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established and growing construction business, working across a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and progressive environment. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial performance of projects from procurement through to final account, working closely with project teams, subcontractors and clients. Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial performance of allocated projects. Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts and cost reports. Manage subcontractor procurement and commercial accounts. Prepare valuations, applications for payment and final accounts. Manage variations, compensation events and contractual changes. Monitor project costs, commitments and cash flow. Identify commercial risks and opportunities. Support contract administration and commercial negotiations. Work closely with project and site teams to ensure effective cost control. Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers. Provide regular commercial reporting to senior management. Requirements Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, civils or infrastructure. Strong commercial and financial awareness. Experience managing subcontractor accounts and procurement. Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
