Conrad Consulting is recruiting for a visionary and experienced Associate Architect to join a thriving, design-led multidisciplinary practice based in Coventry. About the Role
As Associate Architect, you’ll play a key role in steering the architectural output of the practice. You’ll lead project teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to strategic planning alongside senior leadership. The role spans low-rise housing, high-density apartment schemes, and mixed-use developments, with a strong focus on urban regeneration and masterplanning. This is a delivery led, and highly technical position. Latter RIBA stage experience is therefore highly essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and technical delivery of residential and mixed-use projects
- Oversee masterplanning and regeneration schemes from concept to implementation
- Manage multidisciplinary teams across architecture, planning, and urban design
- Act as a primary client liaison, presenting proposals and managing expectations
- Mentor junior architects and technologists, fostering a culture of growth and excellence
- Contribute to business development, fee proposals, and strategic direction
Required Skills & Experience
- ARB-registered Architect with 10+ years post-qualification experience
- Proven track record in delivering residential architecture projects
- Strong portfolio of masterplanning and regeneration work

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- Proficiency in design and BIM software – Revit preferred
