An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a busy consultancy in Peterborough on a contract basis, with the potential to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will have senior-level consultancy experience and be confident taking a lead role across a varied portfolio of projects, including new-build and refurbishment schemes within the retail, commercial and office sectors.
A degree or HND in Civil Engineering is preferred, together with a minimum of 5 years' consultancy experience and the ability to work autonomously. Experience should include advising on, planning, designing and project managing civil and infrastructure schemes through to construction.
Strong technical and client-facing skills are essential, with responsibilities including:
- Preparation of tenders
- Technical reports and consent applications
- Design of foul and surface water drainage, highways and wider infrastructure schemes
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage and PDS is required, while experience in preparing Flood Risk Assessments would be advantageous.
