Our client is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering 3D Technician to support the delivery of high-quality civil infrastructure and development projects across London.
The role involves producing drainage and external works designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D, developing models and calculations with tools such as MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, or InfoDrainage, and coordinating below-ground infrastructure with multidisciplinary teams.
The successful candidate will contribute to planning and statutory submissions, work within BIM environments in line with UK standards and SuDS principles and maintain high-quality digital and CAD outputs throughout project delivery.
This position would suit a technically capable technician with proven experience in drainage and external works design, strong Civil 3D skills, and a solid understanding of UK design standards. Familiarity with Sections 104, 106, and 278, BIM workflows, and digital coordination tools such as Navisworks or Infraworks is advantageous. A proactive approach, strong communication skills, and relevant qualifications or practical experience are essential.
