About the Role
You won't just be drawing; you'll be the technical backbone of a diverse and varied project portfolio, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, surveyors and project managers to bring complex designs to life. This is a fantastic opportunity for technically minded professionals to engage in projects across a wide range of sectors including Education, Civic, Commercial, Heritage, Industrial, Fire Safety and Sports & Leisure.
What You'll Need
- Software Proficiency – Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, NBS Chorus and BIM360
- Technical Expertise – A solid understanding of technical design, the UK construction process, and the ability to produce and coordinate comprehensive construction information
- Specification Knowledge – Experience producing material specifications and detailed design solutions
- Communication Skills – Able to translate complex technical matters clearly for non-technical stakeholders
- Compliance Awareness – Sound knowledge of Building Regulations, health & safety requirements and statutory approval processes
- Professional Commitment – A proactive approach to CPD and adherence to the CIAT Code of Conduct
