Do you enjoy liaising with clients and building relationships, as well as the technical side of engineering? The structures team has an abundant workload of varying projects, including high-end private residences for wealthy individuals, schools, residential developments, hospitals and more. Schemes run into multi-million pound value and are challenging and interesting.
They are looking for a senior structural engineer who is good at more than just the technical side of the job. Yes, you will have design experience and software proficiency, but you will also be a people person who is able to liaise with clients and have good business sense and a desire to reach a stage where you are responsible for winning projects.
If you have managed your own projects, attending site and client visits, and played a role in training and mentoring graduate engineers our client will want to hear from you. You will work closely with a Director to contribute towards his vision for shaping the business practices, and he is open to listening to your ideas and moving the practice forward.
The benefits include 25 days holiday, pension, health cash plan and discretionary bonus. There is no hybrid working on offer as you will need to be in the office to assist more junior team members.
